Soooo, the RCX kit is still the same. It drops the diff 5.25", and either comes with a 4" block or 4" block and AAL, to make a 6" lift with the front obviously adjusted with the torsion bar preload.
Yes. It is.

I own RCX 6" . Im a regular machinists non automotive for a living. I will tell you there kits materials are fine. Before they weld the kit all the holes are where there supposed to be . After they weld up there kit it looks like they do not use proper jig and heat soak there parts while welding causing it to deform.
I had to buy threaded rod spread tabs apart . Grind holes for clearance.
If you can live with that buy from RCX . I would do it again if given the choice.

I'm running bds for the warrenty, have installed another bds on a 96 with no issues, he is running 20x14 on 35s. Also installed a zone and rcx on two other buddy's trucks. Truck with rcx had no issues and was daily driven on 35s. Zone is daily driven as well and also has body lift and runs 37s.

5.25" and then crank my torsion bars!

What we're getting at is its a 5.125-5.250 lift. Cranking torsion bars is an adjustment. For example, a Cepek lift drops the diff a full 6".

I don't care what anyone is getting at. I told the original poster he'd get 6" of lift and he will. Mine is at 7". You can bring your tape measure over here and check it. I didn't say the brackets were 6" and I didn't say the kit had been changed. Let it go.
