Instead of loading other threads with pics I just assume start this thread which I can go back and show the truck's progress when I get to a computer.

Here it is now and today the girlfriend and I headed to Dekalb for her sister's high school graduation. I think this is only the second picture I have of me and my truck.

And here's how it sits now. Started off stock, bought from the old man when I was 19, 26yrs old now and have done a ton to it.

So here she sits, bone stock. I had the truck for a few years before I did anything to it.

I think I was about 5yrs into ownership before I decided I wanted to start modifying. First big thing was 33s and a 3" body lift. Here's the night I got back from getting the new 285/75/16s mounted.

Later that week the body lift arrived so that weekend was set aside to install it.

At this point I realized I needed different wheels and less offset. So I picked up a used set of M/T Classic II's that I sprayed graphite since they weren't in great shape. Also, before the wheels, I got around to isntalling the rear bumper relocators.

Then it was time to ditch the horrible (as always) VHT Niteshade lenses I did and tint them for real. I had some extra black and clear so I did them after hours.

A few minor changes along the way but it stayed that way for the last few years.

Then in April I decided it was time to finally throw a 6" under it. I've been wanting to do it for years so finally being financially stable enough to do it is just great. I've been doing my homework for years so the financial and work-load aspect wasn't much I wasn't expecting.

I got the lift about a week before the wheels/tires came in and had to hold off on tearing things down since I needed the truck to get them home.

I decided to go with TIS 538MB (20x12) wheels since I wanted a machined finish with a black lip. The black/chrome Fuel Mavericks were just out of my price range. I also went with 37" Mud Grapplers since I've always wanted a set just to see how they are. I haven't had them through anything serious yet since I still haven't had my exhaust re-routed for my front driveshaft but the couple little bogs I've been through with it they have done just great.

Replaced every front-end component including the sway bar, which had been broken for a year or so.

Tires did great in a little mud hole the other night. I still don't have my front driveshaft in so it wasn't crazy but I definitely would've needed 4x4 with my old tires. These pulled right through with little throttle.

Cleaned up again.

And now I just threw my bumper valence back on. I'm wiring up a plug right now so I can simply unbolt the valence and bolt my light bar back on and just plug it in instead of being hard wired like it has been.

Went out with my buddy the other night, lift and tires did great. It was mostly creeping through stuff but I did get stuck in a small river. I really need to get my exhaust routed for my front driveshaft, I would've been fine if I had it in.

My friend hit a sharp rock going through a puddle, slashed the tire wide open. It pushed him to get new Toyos the next day though.

Was doing just fine until I got stuck. Thankfully there happened to be a Duramax that showed up out of no where that could pull me out.

Then the next day the same friend helped me put my new gas tank in. The filler next boss had rusted off my original so I picked this up with the pump in and new straps for $277. I did have to modify the plug to accept my stock harness plug. I wasn't about to cut my stock harness just to fit that thing because it had a different plug. Luckily the plug that goes from the pump to the top of the pump housing is the same. So I did some slight modification and was able to fit my original plug in the top. Good as new.

Went out with my friend the other night for some fun. Skip to 7mins in the video and you can see what I was pushing. I couldn't believe it got that deep, what I couldn't believe more is that I backed out of it in 2wd.
