Reference pics and I got a lot more removed once the rain eased up for a couple.

All the front brake lines are removed.
Both calipers and rotors removed.
Prop valve/master cyl/RWAL unit removed and being re-plumbed.
What was left of the dust shields have been removed. Surprising the bolts came out easily.

All the pics I am loading are reference pics so I know how things go back together which is simple but still easy for me to screw up.

So word to those thinking of doing this 1-ton swap. The retainer clips for the inside brake pads will need to be 'stretched' out in order to get the pads to lock into the larger diameter pistons. I almost bought a set of 3500 pads thinking I may have ordered the wrong pads but further reading alerted me to bending the retainer clips out slightly to help make things fit. We are all good now. I guess the next step is bending up some new lines for both calipers then bench bleeding the master. I still have some pieces to get before all this goes down.

My rotor purchase is pending till I can answer this one question: My current rotors are the small ones measuring a little over 4" in height. Can I run the 4.5" rotors on my current spindles or do I need to swap spindles to later spindles? Anyone have any comments on this please let me know. Thanks!
