go to the junk yard and get the original fuel lines off a truck or Tahoe. And stop by the parts store and a 3/8 and a 5/16 compression Union. That's how I did mine and turned out great.
Hey sorry I haven't gotten back to you, been crazy busy. Anyway, the top photo that you posted, is the fuel filter to the right of the picture and to the upper left of the pic, is that going to the fuel rails? I'm just trying to figure out how you connected the lines. Did you cut and splice the GMT800 lines to shorten them?

Its cool. After the long rubber line is where I cut. The lines to the truck. The gmt800 lines were shortened. I put the lines on the motor and bolted everything done. Then took the truck lines and held them up and cut after the long rubber line running on top off the trans.

I see, that's where I got held up. I have the lines on the truck and I'm just wondering "how the hell do these fit without being shortened". I'll be back working on the truck tomorrow and this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

Well I've thrown the towel in on getting the GMT800 lines to work.

I was taking a look at the GMT400 lines, and thought "why not replace the low pressure hose with high pressure hose (crimped of course) cut the TBI connections off and add the LS connections". Well I'm looking for the OEM crimp-on QD connectors, but haven't had any luck finding them yet. Dorman makes PNs 800-120 & 121, but those are not crimp on. Of course if I can't find OEM, I may cut the OEM ends off the GMT 800 lines, and have them crimped to the GMT400 lines. If that doesn't work, I'll have my hose people set the Dorman parts up to be crimped on. At the engine end, I'll will have nylon braided just like the GMT800 factory lines. All hose would be 300psi braided nylon.

This seems like the best choice, is there a reason you didn't go this route?

Is the steel not up to the task of 60psi?

What do you think of this idea?

Reason I did the way I did was I wanted it to look factory. The steel will hold up to 60.

Well I took off the LS QD connector and sure as ****, it looks just like Dormans. So if you want the connectors to look stock as possible, cut the OEM units off at the junk yard or buy the Dorman units.

Well here they are, all fitted with brand new 100psi lines. The people that hooked me up was:
Power Product Technologies
6200 Washington St
Denver, CO 80216
John @ (303) 286-7784
I looked high and low and this companies name kept coming up. I told John what I needed and he came through in fine style.

So there it is.
