you can remove it and install a high flow from what the shop told me. I know of a guy who does exhaust work out of his garage nights and weekends. I know he will do it. I'm just not sure I want the headache of dealing with inspectors.

If they'll do it great, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. The trick is, no matter what, to cut everything off at the manifolds before you go in. They they haven't removed anything, no liability for them.

I left a truck at a shop for four hours once to get 3" pipes put on, came back, and they put on 2.5" because they decided that's what I wanted lol. Pipe monkeys get really belligerent sometimes.

So I've gotten in some parts. I have some nice mid legnth headers and a y pipe to fit it from flowtech. The headers are ceramic coated but the y pipe wasn't. I painted it with high temp paint and I'm going to cure it in the oven (hope I don't get yelled at. Haha)

I found a gauge cluster from a 93. I love the tach. My dad would have loved that. I couldn't tell if the bulbs worked until it was dark. I plan to swap them with leds anyways.

That's fine then. Do you have a recommendation? I found a site called LMC truck that has the bumper I want. What should my budget be? 200-300?
When I worked in parts at a Chevy dealership, oe went for 150-200 but that was twenty years ago. You might check places like summit, godfather and pepboys. Just do your own install, it's not that hard and those places charge out the tailpipes
