Door Lock Cylinder on my 1998 Chevrolet K1500 is somehow recessed in the hole. Is there a clip that holds it in place? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures of this would also be appreciated.

Do you happen to have links to these YouTube videos? I appreciate the help. There's more than one YouTube vid on how to change the outside handle. Lots of good views of how the lock cylinder is fitted in to the handle. I changed my handle not too long ago, and I don't recall a clip, but hey! I might have forgotten already, hoping I don't have to do that job again.
I never said clip. It's a little spring-loaded tab that is part of the outside of the cylinder, it's kinda like the latch on your house doorknob, ya know? It lets you just push the cylinder into the hole and the latch automatically clicks into place. There's more than one YouTube vid on how to change the outside handle. There's a spring-loaded tab on the cylinder that goes into a slot in the handle. They don't usually let go on their own; I'd wonder if maybe someone tried to punch your lock out. Does it show any evidence of being struck with a screwdriver, etc.?
If you look the parts up on ebay, Rockauto, etc. you should probably be able to find a listing that shows multiple pictures of the handle, and lock cylinder, and you'll see what I mean.
