Pretty much any one of them with a Z71, or 2500/3500, 4x4 package got those.

My 98 2500 has one.
Ive only found them on Z71's. I've never had a truck come with one. I always have to hunt junkyards. I dont trust those plastic ones at all.

So this is interesting. Had a guy come to look at the truck today (he very well may buy it). Charged up the battery (hadnt been fired up in a few months), and low and behold it ran PERFECT!!!!! For about 3 minutes. Guy was able to drive it around the block a few times with no issues. Then it slowly went back to its sputtering bucking state.

Same thing happened when I swapped in the last set of injectors and I thought I had it "fixed".

The look on a persons face when when they come to look at a non running truck and it fires right up is pretty entertaining. Im sure the smoke rolling out of my ears was too. This thing lives to piss me off.

I bought one recently, was supposed to run, had to sit on a jump box for twenty minutes first, then it didn't have brakes lol. The price went down substantially.

Well boys, shes gone. Bittersweet, but not all that sad to see it go. Its going to a good home. Really hope the new owner is better than me and can get it fixed.

Let the hunt for the next tow rig begin. The CC Dually urge is very real.....

Is the buyer a member here?

Really interested in seeing the solution to this issue.

Good luck with the CCDW search.
