Hey fellas, young guy new to this forum. Im normally a hotrod/custom dude but ive been looking at getting a 3500 dually for a truck to haul around my stuff. I was originally looking at c30's but the prices are pretty high. I searched but didnt find much on this. How low can you go with a stock width rear and run 22.5 alcoas ? I know guys narrow the rear to tuck when there bagged, but can i get away with a 5/7 drop and keep the stock rear without clearance issues?

I just finished dropping mine 6/8 and did some pretty extensive research on them. Tennessee Wheel and Tire will make wheels that will tuck on a static dropped dually. They are call Townasty's

Where's Riverside? I am just south of Baltimore in Ellicott City.

I actually just read through your whole thread earlier and didnt realize you were in md haha. Riverside is off exit 80 on 95. And are those townastys $780 a piece ? Ive actually just been looking at widening the stock fiberglass fenders about 2". That seems to be the easiest way without dropping crazy money on custom wheels or narrowing/buying a c&c rear

The rear fenders are sheet molded compound, not fiberglass. They can be widened with the correct epoxy system and glass cloth. Polyester resin is not the correct product to use when working on these.

First off, what's a c&c rear?
Second, the main issue I see with tucking on a dually (irregardless of widening the fenders) is that you'll still hit the side of the bed where the molded fender connects.
