Okay since i haven't gotten a answer that answers my quesiton, and i do appreciate all the help guys are giving me. I'm just going to ask my one quesiton in this manner.

How does the truck get power if all i run is one large gauge to starter and one large gauge to alternator, is there a relay point or main fuse i have to tie into?

If you have a 88-94 there is a large wire that is in the main terminal of the starter. If you have a 95-98 there is a second large wire directly off of the positive battery terminal.

So because i have a 92, the wire going from battery positive in bed to starter big positive also supplies power to the rest of the truck? just want to make sure i understand this.

I have a 92 and I have a wire from the battery to the firewall relays that is the main power for the truck. I had it melt in half and the truck had no power at all

When relocating a battery, in most cases, all you do is to tie into what is already there, with a large enough wire to carry the current. If I wanted to do this myself, I would use a 2/0 wire with a lug on 1 end and a battery connector on the other end. I would do both the pos. and the ground, or at least tie the new ground into the frame, and be sure that the old wires go to the frame. On the pos connector I would tie the lug into the connector where the battery was under the hood, then tuck the wires and zip tie them a neet as I could. For where the new lug ties into the old battery connection, they make a connector for this. Also you may want to add a disconnect switch at the battery, incase there is ever a problem with the wires.

So i figured out that the wire that goes to the starter, well the 4 ga terminates at starter but the little guy 8 gauge? goes down to starter than upto the relay panel on firewall? under that weird shaped cover. so now i have my asnwer, i need a 1/0 gauge to starter, and a 4 ga to relay panel. thanks for the help guys.
