Does anyone have any information on upgrading from manual mirrors to power mirrors? Or if there is already a thread about this can someone point me in that direction?

My 98 K3500 was optioned exactly like your 98 is. Power windows, locks and factory keyless. With the chrome bolt on camper mirrors.

I'd suggest removing the wire conduit between your door and cab. You may very well find the dash harness side of the power mirror connector in there.

That was the case with mine. I removed the mirror harnesses from a junk truck I had. It was all plug and play, the mirror harness in each door is a stand alone harness.

That's how I just upgraded my 98 to power gmt800 tow mirrors.

The harness was tucked up in the cowl. I had to fish it out.

That is some the best help I've gotten. Thank you

I drove around for a few months with the holes in my doors prior to replacing the whole door shell.
