no not the right one, i had to get a new glove box.i had the rpo codes wrote down but i lost them

Are you 100% sure that's original paint? Does it match all the way in on the firewall, door jambs, inside the cab if you remove a trim panel? I ask because a green like that isn't very common.
If it is original, my best guess for a 1996 model GMT400 would be emerald green metallic, code 43 / WA177B
You can run your VIN through Compnine and get all the RPO codes from there. Paint color will be in it

its not metallic.. and yes, its the original paint. it was an old TWRA truck, but id like to know what color it is exacltey

Doesnt look like any chevy factory paint Ive ever seen. But if it was purchased by a large commercial company they may have special ordered say 100 trucks in their company color.

Yep - looks to be a custom ordered color for the TWRA. Doubt you'll get a colormatch for it.
Like @someotherguy said, run your VIN through CompNine. It costs $5, but you'll get a list of all your RPO codes again, and their meanings.
