Changed EVERYTHING, Still misfiring.... 97K1500-5.7vortec (stock)

From everything else you have said, unless I missed it, sounds like it might be something in the harness. Did you reuse the same harness or did you get a new one with the swap? I saw that you already tried various sensors and the ECU, and since nothing else was changed with the swap, maybe there is a wire that has high resistance or something that causes a sensor to read incorrectly, but not wrong enough to throw a code?

Exactly what im thinking at thins point. Going to test a pile of wiring next

Ok!!! So after months of checking wiring in my limited spare time i found that a common ground for the pcm on the back of the passenger side cylinder head had broken off. Repaired the wire and shes good to go!!!

Thanks for all the input guys, really appreciate it!!!

My 1990 was doing the same thing but it was the coolant temperature sensor on the intake manifold that reports back to the computer.
