Good to see you back man. I like your plan. Very well sorted out.
Appreciate it. I'm just glad it's going to be back on the road. Been busy with work, actually building some stuff for a division of your company.

Engine is scheduled to be delivered today. Thinking I might spice it up just a little. Maybe some short tube headers and improved ignition components. Anyone have any experience with beefier spark plug wires and iridium plugs? Specifically ACDelco rapid fires? Obviously this won't be adding any power or mileage etc, but I've talked to a few folks who said it improved the speed at which the engine and starts and gave them a silky smooth idle. What say ye?

I have ACDelco Iridium's in the truck. I do find the idle is much smoother, but not perfect on my '96 Vortec. I'm quite certain it's the cheapo aftermarket wires on mine causing the not so smooth idle.

Truck should be done sometime this week. You know how anxious you were as a kid for Christmas to come? Especially when it was just a couple days a way? Man that was the worst. Imagine that. Then multiply it by 10. And then add on some anxiety because you don't know when the exact date is that it will be finished, and you're starting to worry about weather or not you'll have the next big project done before you start college in a few months. (Are we talking about my truck or Christmas?) That is me as of right now.

Not Yukon related, but I think I found my next daily.

1989 Chevy S10. SCLB, 4.3/auto with 156k. That's the only picture I got. Finally stopped by and looked at it after driving past it for months. He's asking 2200. I think dropping it level, ditching the camper shell, giving it a good polish and throwing a system in the cab would suit me. Would be a good little DD/cruiser. What do you guys say???

I'd say go for it.
Friend's dad had a 90 S10 in their shop for the longest time, with the intentions of swapping a carbed 350 in and some sort of 5-speed.
Looked like this one, expect they had Corvette rally rims on it.
