Yes, reading the description and not really having a full write up on the procedure makes me think strongly about
A) just dealing with it, as the temp and fan still work fine, just the diverter that's not working
B) saving up to let the dealer or another shop take care of it someday.

This is the write up I used pics are not coming up. Not sure if it's much help now. And I used about a 3 minute youtube video for rotating the dash can't seem to find it. Will keep looking. If you got the cash to allow a shop to do it it's probably well worth it. I would guess somewhere around $800-1200 and way more from the dealer. I'm not a mechanic just an estimate. It is not my main truck so I took my time with it over about a week to get it all done. I was painting interior trim as well. And only working a couple hours each night. Mine had to be done defroster was on all the time fogging up the window constantly. Hope I helped a little bit

Thanks, wish the pictures worked there, but the write up is reasonably good and it doesn't *sound* too terrible. We'll see when this moves to the top of my list, as it's not terribly annoying yet..

Would you mind taking a photo of your actuator too? While testing it, I moved the position, so not I'm not sure where it should index. Online photos suggest the center position, but I think I remember it being on the left.

Jerry, was your picture request to me or Brian?

Thanks for replying, but I picked up a replacement and figured out the notch should be in the center. That wasn't enough to fix it though because the door itself isn't sealing well and air's blowing past it.
