hows it going guys, i never ask for help but this has me stumped, cant find any info on it, my 2000 Yukon denali is a little different from the standard gmt400 infect ive seen them called gmt425's, bought keyfobs to match the stock ones i broke, got all ready to connect 4 & 8 on the data port (odb2 plug) low and behold 8 is missing, along with quite a few wires, nothing rerouted, nothing changed from stock just like the wires don't exist, insight would be much appreciated and both trucks will be up for grabs, two door on may 15th, denali will be for sale in june. tahoe is a 97 with 95,000 that wont need anything but oil changes for a long long time, Denali is a mileage monster at 246,000 without a click or knock

----------- Adding No PIN on port #8 issue; Thanks to 99Vortec-----------

I wanted to add a solution to your how-to guide for users who encounter no pin in port #8.

Done on '99 Yukon Denali.

First remove the radio fuse. Then follow the steps below...

(If the Delco Radio theftlock feature is enabled make sure that you have the pin handy for re-entry.)

1. Close all vehicle doors.
2. Insert the key into the ignition.
3. Hold down the power UNLOCK button on the driver's door panel-continue to hold down until instructed to release in step 9.
4. Perform steps 5 through 8 in fairly rapid succession.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine).
6. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
7. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
8. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
9. Release the power unlock button on the door panel. The vehicle will lock and unlock the doors automatically.

Then I was able to program the new Keyfob by holding both it's lock and unlock buttons until the vehicles locks cycled again.

il try this out; im guessing radio pin stands for the pin number any chance that would be in any of the stock paperwork or on the truck?
