Yeah I know, highest I've seen is $400. With them actually being manufactured means eventually there will be people who buy them an end up reselling them for cheaper (hopefully lol) and possibly other sources will come up with lower prices (again, so I hope, but doesn't seem like it's impossible)

My hopes as well... Either that or LMC only sells them for a limited time and someone buys them all and when LMC stops manufacturing they will sell them for the $400+ price again.

There's tons of these in the yards by me. I saved the one from my truck since it was still in good shape.

Lucky you, I've had a tough time finding any in good shape. These new ones from LMC are tough to pass on...

Which yard do you go to?
I go to the one on Jefferson in Grand Prairie. The one with the building

There's several outside of Tyler, one near Gilmer, and a few others I've found driving to and from work that I need to stop at one day.

Is it possible to remove the tailgate trim without ruining it? Mine is oxidized and faded, and I'm considering stripping the paint, re-brushing the aluminum and then repainting the letters to match the body color. I'd like to have it hydro-dipped in a brushed aluminum pattern but I think the size would make it quite pricey. Also not sure if hydro-dipping would hold up to Michigan If it can't be removed without ruining it, I'll just repaint and clear it as others have.

I would take masonary line and saw the line back and forth behind the banner to soften and separate the glue/adhesive. I use this tactic when removing emblems at the junkyard
