The day I've been waiting for to finally install my radio. I have the installation kit, the wiring adapter, and when I pulled the radio out of the box....I find that it came with no wiring pigtail....now the search is on to find one :bawl:

Since the radio installation was a wash today, I decided to paint the ugly black wheels back to a "close to stock" color. I personally cannot stand black wheels, I'm sure they have a place, but it's not on anything I drive.

Of course, one does not simply paint their wheels and call it a day.........

So as I'm admiring my not black wheels, I can't help but notice that the black grill makes this look like a W/T instead of a Cheyenne... So off comes the grill.....

So while its apart, I clean her up a bit and go back with some gloss black...

I manage to get the emblems and reflectors off without breaking them. The bow tie had possibly bondo on it and whoever put it on there made no attempt of sanding it smooth. I sanded it as smooth as I could and painted it royal blue. It doesn't really match anything but the interior, but it fits into my future plans for this truck....

Next I painted the grill with some dark bumper gray, I know it could've used some sanding and prep...but next week this grill and lights are going to be listed on CL....

Truck looks good with the freshened up bumper and wheels.

If your lights don't show up before the days over I'd be calling customer service for whoever shipped them. I had a similar experience, marked delivered but not actually delivered. UPS customer service went above and beyond in my case to find my missing package. Hope you have a similar experience.

I went to the mailbox and they were there.... Opened the box, and f#%k!!! Everything was there except for the lenses. Amazon refunded my money and now I have to send them back...I hoped that they would just send me the lenses. I'll use my credit and try to order them again, if they screw it up again, I'll just order a different set. It sucks, I was looking forward to installing them today.
