Damn that's a lot of green. Not my taste, and not anything I'd do, but props to you for the workmanship.

Got my K2XX mirrors installed today. Love the way they turned out and so far just driving at night, I can see a lot more that the GMT800 style mirrors, especially in the convex mirror. The GMT800 style convex mirrors have a big blind spot that these don't have.

I'll try to get a video tomorrow on how the turn signals work with and without the running lights on, I like how it turned out.
Like all the green. Sadly cops here keep good tabs on it. I had green in my visor lights for maybe two months and got pulled over for it.
Not to be a Debbie downer, but depending on your local laws all that green looks like a great way to get pulled over real quick. That wouldn't fly for 5min around here.
Yeah it sucks that it's a federal thing.
I don't care what color lights you have honestly but the federal regs state forward facing and side marker lights are supposed to be amber and rear facing ones red. It might not be in a local/County ordnance but it's definately covered in federal dot regs.
This is correct. Some places are a little more relaxed about it. Same with tint. Mine is illegal. Never been bothered about it but the time I got pulled over for the green visor lights. Showed him the Amber ones I could replace one the spot and he said that won't be necessary I'll just be back with a ticket for the tint Instead. He wasn't a smart ass or anything. Just doing his job. I could have gotten more tickets. HIDs, cracked windshield, etc. I knew the tint was illegal when I got it. I didn't want to fix it so I paid the fee of $150.
I say that not to bash you or anything just so you know. Like you said most cops don't care as long as they aren't blue or red. But if one wanted to be a jerk about it you could get tickets for it.
Where I'm at in this little town, I know all the local PD guys. Their station is connected to the fire department. I've shot the **** with all of them a few times. They wave at me with my windows up. I could paint my **** and they probably wouldn't bother me lol. We also have a state police post here too so I see them here and there. It's nice that I don't have to worry too much. I don't speed in town or anything. I follow the rules still. I shouldn't expect special treatment. It's just nice for stuff like tint to be ignored around here.

Thanks! Yeah I understand it isn't for everyone, which is why everyone's build is different

Well I finally got around to making a video of my mirrors yesterday. Kinda an overview and also show how the running lights and turn signal function with how I have it wired up.

It was my first time making a video like this so I was stumbling over my words a little bit and it's also kinda shaky, I have YouTube putting the anti shake filter on it but it might look horrible when it gets done so I might take it back off.

I can't say that I have. How long have yours been mounted? Mine have been mounted three and a half weeks (and were dated 2015/10/10 on the box) and haven't noticed anything but it definitely make me want to check them out and see if I see any stress marks.

Definitely let us know what the seller says about it.

Ive had them installed for about 4 weeks or so. Hope they let me replace it, because for $200 and theyre already doing that is rediculous.

Yeah, I don't see why they wouldn't. I know one of the YouTube-ers I follow got a set for his 01 3500 and he opened them up and separated the glass turn from the front clearance light and after he mounted them he found out his passenger side mirror was a "funny mirror" and was warping the image. He messaged the seller goody4less (same seller I got mine from) and they asked for his date code (which is the same as my set) and are sending him a new passenger mirror, at no charge, and don't even want the old one back that he opened!

Supposedly they had a problem on some of the mirrors being distorted and I think I might contact the seller because I see a little of the distortion in mine but nowhere near as bad as his was... mine is manageable but if I can get a free mirror and fix what little is wrong with the one I have I'll take it and also have spare parts.

Got a set of the GMT 800 mirrors for my 93. Just the basic ones. Look great but the glass vibrates so bad it dang near makes you sea sick driving. Any repairs for this?

Take the glass out and bend the metal spring tabs out to make it put more pressure on the glass.

But it still won't take it all way, I had the gmt800 style and you'll never get it all out. The K2XX mirrors are so much more stable, I still have vibration in my passenger mirror but it's nowhere near as bad as the gmt800 and I chalk it up as the door needing hinge bushings.
