How many miles is too many.

Ok guys I'm looking to stock up on ls engines. I'm wondering g what your opinion is on how many miles is too many for a rebuild. Opinions appreciated TIA!

Well 312k is definitely way too many, lol. I'd think if you want a good, solid base to work from, stay under 150k max 200k. That's my opinion though. From experience, after 200, gaskets, hoses and lines start going out left and right. I felt like I was replacing a gasket or coolant line every week after I started driving my 01

Yah but I'm mostly worried about the block. Idc about all the gaskets etc.

In that case, as long as it hasn't been neglected or run into the ground, 200 and below should be fine. I've never had an issue with anything in the motor besides gaskets and lines
