Hey guys, I'm working on my 94 Chevy Crew Cab 2WD and I'm pulling the 6.5 out and will be using an L31 Crate motor.... I know I can't use the diesel torque converter for the 4L80E, so any idea on what stall would be good for the 350?

This is more of a cruiser than a towing vehicle. I really went back and forth on this because I wanted to keep the engine swap under $3000 and wanted a new engine, a simplistic fuel set up. I thought about cummins and LS swaps but they were just going to get too pricey for what I wanted to spend, sacrificed power for budget. Also figured if I had the money down the road I could always find an LS or Cummins something and completely rebuild it rather than putting a used engine in and hoping it runs well.

The 350 is a GM L31 vortec long block with edelbrock performer top end, HEI distributor and flowtech headers.
