kinda.....if you look up in there it has a very small gap toward the outside at the very top, it is just big enough to sneak lights through and not interfere with the pocket at all! its not through the big holes...i use the big holes on the side of the pocket to put hooks for straps to tie stuff down, its wayyyy up top. ill get a pic if i remember

well my heat has been luke warm at best, forever....-30 wind chill this weekend, and 15 tonight, figured id do heater core....felt lines lastnight and one was warm and one cool. figured if i was doing the work of pulling hoses to flush id just change core. $40 and about an hour and now i have heat!

super easy heater core job! love this truck. never done a heater core even close to this easy. bottom of box was a pain to get in up against firewall rubber, but still super easy and heat cranks now! was hotter than before when temp was only at 100. driving i had to turn it down i was so hot.....excited to not freeze driving to work now. the high idle gets truck up to temp on a 15 deg morning by the time i make coffee, but heat was always bad, and if i used defrost the ac would overpower it and freeze you. now its hot!!!

took core and put in sink and ran water thru it, bubbles and tiny trickle came out, tapped and saw some crud fall out and still blocked when i tested again. tried with new core and water rushed out other side! plugged core....so screw all the back flushing, just do the job....well if you have a 95 or newer truck! haha
