I know I'm torn between the stock hood and the cowl. I like the smoothness of the factory hood but the cowl looks good too!
I understand, I am that way about grilles, I have a chevy full phantom and a GMC with 30 bar, I want to be able to switch back and forth as the mood strikes!

Ugh so clean. Did you dye the door panel carpet or replace it with new? That black interior contrast with the paint is sex. My summer project now haha.

I had the upholstery shop replace the carpet on the panels. Thanks man!

I have a question for you man. I took my door panels off this morning and painted them with the plastic paint at AutoZone (don't have the money to spend on the good stuff yet and mine were getting on my nerves because of the two different colors) Okay my door panels doesn't have any material on them so I sanded the entire thing with 250 grit, primed them, painted them, and even clear coated then because I wanted a glossy finish, and then wetsanded and polished them. This is the result...

...as you can see it doesn't look like the paint laid evenly but maybe it's just me. It doesn't have any sticky feeling or anything like that but I'm not happy with it. My question to you or anyone else on here is if these door panels will fit my truck...

Coverlay says they're for the 90-91 trucks but mine is an 89. This is the panels they have for my truck but I'm not too fond of them...

It seems to me that the clear coat may have reacted with the paint maybe.. Was the paint dry before you cleared it? Did you use some type of plastic cleaner/de-greaser?

Those panels should work for you. You would just need to find the 90+ power window/lock bezel to accommodate the newer style panel. Can you post a pic of the inside of your door with the panel off?

I don't think you are supposed to clear or wet sand the plastic dye/paint.
