BBC to NV5600 adapter?

Well, my 4l80 took a dump on me today, I'm going to a manual and it's going to be a 6 speed. I was thinking ZF6 but I am eventually going to put a 12 valve in place of the 454 but not anytime soon so I'd like to go ahead of have the transmission for it already so have any of you guys seen a BBC to NV5600 adapter plate? Or know if it even needs one? If a NV4500 will bolt up to both a cummins and a 454, and an NV5600 will bolt to a cummins, wouldn't it bolt to the 454? I can get a NV5600 easier than a ZF6 which is why I want to use it rather than adapt the cummins to the ZF6 later on. Also, I'm not sure if the bell housing for the 5600 in the 01's and 02's is different than the 03+, if they are, please let me know, I would imaging they aren't though.

Do you know of anyone that makes an adapter plate? I guess I could get one made but that's more trouble than using a ZF6, I know they make adapter plates for ZF6 to cummins

all you need is a bellhousing for a vortec 8100(((( cancel that idea the article I was reading was wrong))))))

These guys don't have a kit any longer. Has anyone seen one anywhere else recently?

Zf6 might be a better swap. Not sure what all would be involved vs a 4l80

That NV5600 weighs 360lbs empty. I thought about it for my caddy swap but it is just too expensive and too heavy.

I am currently doing a build with a TKO600. It was a little on the high side in price but I plan on having lots of power from my big block and wanted to make sure the trans could handle it. Its a 5 speed but the way they designed it is 1-4 are close ratio, but 5th is much wider for highway speeds
