Mirror gaskets

Does anyone know where I can find new mirror gaskets without buying new mirrors? I can't seem to find them on the web.

New, no idea.. but if all else fails you can probably cut one outta an inner tube or toolbox drawer liner or something similar. If you can not find one that is. Could always go to the junk yard and take a couple out aswell...

I was hoping to get new ones. I'm preparing my truck for paint and found one of the gaskets leaking and left a nice surprise (rust) on the inside of the door where the mirror bolts are . I can't believe gm or anybody makes the proper body gasket

According to Gmpartsdirect the part numbers are
15697341 Left Mirror Seal
15697342 Right Mirror Seal

Thats for the newer plastic mirrors as far as I can tell.

It looks like you can pick one up on ebay for about $22. You can probably get one from your local dealer for less though. The Chevy list price ranges from $3-$10

I have 454 SS mirrors on my truck, i happened to notice today the gaskets were getting a bit dryrotted. Anybody got a part number for those gaskets as well?

I've been searching the web everyone wants to sell the gasket with the mirror (f@)&) I've had little success just getting the gaskets and what's sucks worse is I am replacing my originals with calvu sports mirrors that don't come with them either
