Nothing really to report on updates other than that she's been in the garage for winter. Had a good aummer season and put 4k ish miles on it with no real problems to report. I have a vibration when laying into it I need to address. I think it's either the exhaust rattling on the tranny crossmember or a pinion angle problem.

I'm going to put new bushings in the lower links anyways so I'll be able to check them then. Bushings will probably be an every year thing until I make a set of new lower links where the bags aren't offset.

Plans are just to go through this thing and make sure nothing is loose and get it ready for next season. I still need to make some inner fenders and finish my notch cover. I may cut the turn outs off of my exhaust and turn them down....they make my passenger side rear wheel super dirty. Plasti dip still looks good and will probably leave it on another season. I did add a small detail to the truck that kinda fits the theme....also reminds me of my youth...growing up in a small farm town. Couple pics.

Just one on the lift...

Tires are 255/35/20 in the front and 255/50/20 in the rear. I mounted up the two in the rear temporarily so I could set up the suspension to lay out on a similar tires size in 22". But ended up liking it so I just left them on. It nearly tucks lugnuts in the rear with these tires. Plus they are used off my old TBSS....so I don't really care when I burn them off ..lol.

I just bought some 275 60 15s for the front with 15x8s with 4.5" backspacing, and 295 65 15s for the rear with 15x10s with a 6" backspacing

Thanks. That's the size I'm going with up front as well. Still going back & forth on 20x10 with a 275/35 or 22x9 with a 265/35 out back. Will make that final call once I get ready to order.

This isn't 400 related but I finally finished the cam swap on my 04. Still needs a tune but sounds pretty beastly. She was loading up in this video. I've since regapped the plugs and it idled much better now. I actually put 100mi on it already and I think I had it shutoff once.

Thanks man. Still loving it. Actually about to throw full coverage back on it so I can drive her again. Hows your truck coming along btw?
Need to get the driveline vibration fixed and all will be good. Didn't find anything loose or bad on it when I went through it other than the rear link bushings. Those will probably be a once a year thing until I make new lower links.

Been driving the crap out of the 04 and man do I love it with this new cam. Even untuned it pulls so much harder! Gonna be hard to choose between the two trucks this summer now. First world problems I guess...lol. Both trucks get tons of compliments and am proud to own and to have built both. I have one more video of the 04. The description said warm idle...but it was actually a tad bit cold still. The end of the video is how it Idles warm.
