howdy guys i will song be installing on my 94 c1500 350 TBI the headman headers long tubes and will run true dual exhaust pipe. Now i am a bit at a cross road. I would like to use the Thrush mufflers (2 of them one for each pipe) and may be dump it on the side before the rear wheel on the passenger side or right over the axle. Is Thrush a feasible option? Im opting for 2.5" after the headers. Do i need an xpipe? I will not run cats. Thanks in advance for any help

Look into Jones Exhaust Max Flow Mufflers. They seem to be the same as Magnaflow (even down to very similar part numbers) at less than half the price.

H-pipes sound a lot better on a low rpm older truck. x-pipes are better for high rpm sports cars.

h-pipe will produce more low end torque.

i prefer dynomax ultraflows. you can get them shipped from amazon prime for a reasonable price. they are stainless steel construction, straight through, and have a nice deep tone without the glasspack rasp that a magnaflow has.
