What brand LEDs do you use? Reviews are all over the place as to the quality.

BTW, I have almost your sister truck. CCLB, black, L29, dually, 4x4, only it's an auto. You've given me lots of ideas.
I've bought them all off of various ebay sellers. Most of them hold up ok, i've had a couple go bad here and there. Glad to be giving you ideas as well.

hey dave, how hard was this swap? I think I'd like to do this to my CCSB.
Hey Steve haven't seen you around lately. It was a simple swap, it's like 2 bolts under the passenger side cover and thats it. The driver's side is just a pin to pivot on.

I went to the you pull, but no luck on a decent console. :-( I have an escalade console that is complete minus lid. I also have matching cloth buckets in near perfect condition. I might put that together and swap it in. Then move my bench console back to the rear.

Do you need a tan one? I have one that I was trying to sell a while back that never did...

Well, it has been around a month since purchasing the new camper, and it's been living on the truck this entire time. Well the old jacks were severely rusted (this must have been out at the coast). Fortunately the hardware for 95% of the camper is stainless, sans the jacks and brackets. Anyway, I took them off to rebuild and it's been a slow project as time permits.

Here is the condition of the old ones...... These are supposed to be 3/16" thick

I was able to save the dually swing out hinges

So, out came the chop saw and welder, new brackets were made but were designed with more area for support.

And everything got a nice coat of enamel.

Luckily a friend of mine upgraded his year old jacks, so I was able to install clean jacks instead of trying to re-finish the rusty ones.

Spent a few hours installing them. Ended up adding additional lag screws on every bracket where the supports were extended, and on the rear I used bolts and a plate on the upper 4 bolts to sandwich the brackets instead of relying on lag bolts into wood alone. Every piece of hardware is stainless now. I also replaced all the plug covers with new.

Up next, the rebuilt Whipple will be showing up soon. Going to put that on the truck and likely sell the used one.

What would it take to put the used whipple on my 5.7L Vortec?
Well, you would need everything else that goes with it to install on a 5.7L vortec, which i doubt Whipple has or makes anymore considering they don't for the 7.4L. Unfortunately I have just the compressor and intake/discharge manifolds, but am missing the brackets/pulleys...

Here she is.... Rebuilt Whipple.

We will get that, along with a new starter installed shortly. But first I needed to get away from things and drag the camper/quads over to the sunshine. First time using the new camper with the cargo trailer.

I think a shorter hitch extension is in order..........
