Everything up front is tight. No slop except for a bit of play in the steering gear. IIRC, I stalled the supplied drop center link, tightened it up to the pitman and idler arm, and adjusted the center support (the supplied heim joint setup) just until in had very slight tension.

Rough Country emailed me back. They suggested lower the ride height. Two issues here. I bought a 6" lift with the intentions of achieving 6" of lift, also, I cant see how lowering the ride height an inch will resolve the issue.

Moog makes universal links in various lengths. Moog part number K7275 is what I bought. The sleeve on the OEM ones measure 4". The K7275 links have a sleeve measuring 5.5". Of course they include all the hardware and necessary bushings. They are identical to OEM links, just longer

I will be installing these links later this evening and report back with the results.

Those are the ones I had on mine. This picture is from when I had the lift as low as it would go before I got tires.

Keep in mind that part of this is subjective. What is 6" of lift? From what geometry or torsion bar preload setting are you trying get 6 more inches? RCX's 6" lift is the same front end parts as their 4" lift. The lift kit, IIRC, is actually a 5" differential drop setup, where you'd "decrank" to 4" or "crank" to 6". See what I'm saying?

I used moog end links for 07-11 (I think?) F-150s, waaaaaay better than the stock design, and much easier to install. Although I am running a superlift, I am sure it would still work and solve the problem.

Yes. You are absolutely correct. I measured from center of wheel up to fender before I got started with the lift install. Then once it was all done and back on the ground, I cranked the keys just until I achieved an additional 6" from my original measurement.

I did it this way as a 6" lift should be providing an additional 6" lift from original ride height.

Either way, I'm going to try the longer links. Cant do any harm. I figure I'll gain around an extra inch of clearance between sway bar and tie rod.
