Been using search function, haven't found anything that calls out process for battery relocation. I am also doing the big 3 at the same time so, my questions are i need true 4 gauge for the starter, a 1/0 gauge run to the alternator, and what else from the battery positive? On my s10 i was able to run a 1/0 gauge to the fuse/relay panel. I didn't see the ability to do that with my 92 silverado. I plan on running from the negative in short runs from battery negative to frame, and from frame to cab in 1/0 gauge. Does this sound like enough? i am curious with wanting to do this correctly.

Bat+ to alternator
Bat- to frame
Bat - to motor
Motor to frame
Cab to frame
Bat- to fender
I am replacing all of those.
That's what most sites suggest. I learned the hard way, that you are better off getting 1/0 OFC wire not CCA. Both get the job done, depends on how much money you want to spend I guess.

Wouldn't the batt- to motor be the same as running motor-to frame and batt- to frame? Trying to cut out some of these super long runs, for price and well so i don't have 8 runs of 1/0 gauge hanging off the frame rail.

Yeah you are fine imo running motor to frame.
I played with my set up a little today. You can see my block to frame and frame to neg on bat.

What are the benefits of this?

Ebay, go with ofc wire if you have the money.

Benefits are no resistance in the grounds. And makes the alternator more efficient. If you have a large load on the electrical system like amps and subs or offroad lights etc, it can help with lessening or eliminating the dimming. I have done this before and the wires only lasted about 2 years with winter driving. This time I learned and am not using copper ring terminal and using plenty of heavy duty heat shrink to keep them water tight. I recommend purchasing a hydraulic crimper. Mine is capable of crimping 10awg up to 2/0awg and the crimps are professional and stupid strong.
