Nice truck! I love the look of an ECLB truck lifted, especially an OBS. I have an NBS long bed (2000 model year). I love it. And if you do a 6" suspension and 3" body lift on 37"s you should be sitting pretty much as high as me. I have 37"s. You will have plenty of room to run them, and they wont rub except maybe when you are flexed out.
Keep up the good work, gonna be watching this build!

thanks that truck looks pretty good even though I don't like the NBS. How much offset is your wheels I like the look not to much but just enough.

Still trying to get time to do a compression check been a crazy week.

Did fire up the truck again to watch the Oil pressure. Sits at 20 psi when first fired up then drops to 15psi after warmed up. Goes to 20 psi when reving it up when warmed up.
Is this normal?
Seems extremely low to me since my ford runs 25psi start up then warmed up 20 and goes all the way to 50 when up there in RPMs.

Thanks,

Tried to get to a compression check but the fuel pump is staying on even after the relay and fuse is pulled. Thinking somebody bypassed it to stay on.
Got to get to the bottom of that.

Thinking I am going to just pull the engine and 383 stroke it with some upgrades. I disconnected the line to the TBI and the gas looked clean. Timing may be off but not very sure thinking it is a low compression issue or something.

Also thinking I am going to go 4" lift with 35s so it doesn't sit to high with XD Hoss -12 18x9 wheels.

Our trucks don't sit high anyways, my 6" lift on 35's is about equal with a stock high super duty leveled.

Do the 2500s sit as high as the 1500s?

If so I will do a 6" with 35s. We had a 2002 F250 4x4 CCSB stock height and I liked the height with 295 75 16s.

I don't know I am back and forth on the size lift and tires.

I don't believe there is a difference, although I am not speaking from experience. There are some 2500s in town and when I was stock height I didn't feel they sat higher than me.

When I have my next truck, and its time to replace tires on this one, I am thinking about throwing on my 3" body lift and putting on 37s or so for added ground clearance (don't really plan on flexing this truck, I just need a little bit of articulation for deep woods camping and overlanding).

what offset do you have on your wheels subourban?
Maybe with 37s and 9" of lift total it will look good and not be to high with the Nfab steps I want.
