Hello, there I have a 98 ECSB 4x4 350 auto truck, and I have been experiencing a popping end from the front end of my truck. I am not sure of the cause of the problem. It only happens when I turn my truck from lock to lock. My truck currently has 1.5 inch torsion bar lift in the front, still I'm not sure if that's my problem are not. It also has new CV shafts, wheel bearings, and front brakes. All of my bushings, tie rods, and ball joints are in decent shape. I was wondering if my central axle disconnect could be staying locked in and cause binding in the front end diff. If anyone could help, I would be greatly thankful.

I was just about to post the same question untill i saw your post ,I seem to have your exact same problem.I replaced both my cv axles on friday and a month ago i replaced all four tie rod ends and the pitman and idler arm.i and i still have the popping noise at full lock turns.It mainly happens in reverse and it it is driving me crazy.

I get popping idk what it is I've learned to live with it I get new stuff n still can't get rid of it lol!

I'm not running any sway bar links at the moment...I replaced all four ball joints in about 2011...I have a theory that the drivers side lower ball joint might be making the popping sounds even though it doesn't have any play in it.but I have just kinda learned to live it also
