That's in a '39 Ford Standard. The 'Ugly Duckling' of that body style! Fairly low sitting with a nice rake. A traditional style Hot Rod. Black with a kind of a soft yellow on the steelies with rings & bullet caps. Big-n-little black walls.
Built 468 BBC/T400/3.73's in a 9"!
I see that you're in the lower mainland somewhere. The car's from the Maple Ridge/Mission area.
Sometimes shows up @ the M.R. A&W on Thursdays during their cruise nights in the Summer.
He's the owner/operator of Big Al's Rod Shop. Great guy. Killer fabricator!

Just gotta say how much I love that beautiful V8 on the seatback. Real, real nice work. Reminds me of my doorbell in the house. I put a Ford V8 and a "Deluxe" from a 40 Ford on the doorbell housing. Sorry to put this in this thread, but that V8 by SewLow was just fantastic.
I agree 100%!

I agree on the 39 Ford Standard. Ugly compared to the Deluxe, which is almost as nice as the 40, in my opinion. I had a 37, which I liked, but every thing that could be worn out was worn out, and I sold it in about 1965 for $60! Makes me cry now.

Here's that doorbell I mentioned:
