Thought I would drop this here for anybody else cheap and resourceful like me. These are the 2013 Monroe shock specs, filtered by the correct rear shocks and mounts for a 1/2 ton 2wd. I personally used 32186 on a 4/6 with a notch and lower shock extenders. The "LS92" mounts works also, but is not filtered on the chart. This shock has the perfect stroke for this set-up with factory mounting top and bottom. Rides better than stock and for $20/each it's hard to beat.

Thought I should add the following.
In my opinion, if you are doing a 4" drop up front and using spindles and springs you need shocks for a 2" drop. Yes your truck does come down 4" up front but your suspension is only getting 2" of that. The other 2" coming from the relocated spindle so no suspension drop there.

What?

Stock 0"/2" Shackle Drop

Gabriel Max Control, stock was too tall (Est. 2" from full collapse).

2wd S10 shocks are same mount style and shorter than C1500.

2nd Generation S10, 1994+, Non ZQ8/Non ZR2.

Rear Shock only, now Est. 4" from full collapse.

Here's a new Co. you guys should check out.
Apparently started by former employees & relatives of the owners of QA1.
They started it because they felt that they could offer the same or better quality than what QA1 offers, for LESS $$$!

I only have a 2 inch rear drop on my 1999 2dr 2wd Tahoe, but plan to drop the front 2" with spindles and the rear 2" more with Hangers. I just put on new Stock high KYB Gas a Just in the front as I can use them after the spendle drop. I also have some Stock high for the rear, but not sure if I can use them after the additional 2" drop for a total of 4" rear drop.

95 ecsb 4/6 drop. I just ordered Belltech 8503 nitro drop shocks. Couldn't find very many reviews of them but anything has to be better than the stock shocks ive been running on for like 3 weeks. I'll let ya know how they do in a few days.

I'm going to be doing a 4/6 drop, and just for now I'm going with the stock Monroe shocks in the back since they are close to new and the drop kit comes with the shock extenders. Will the fronts be ok for the time being with a 2" spindle and 2" spring drop, or does someone know a part number to a shock that would have similar ride quality but would work better with the drop? I skimmed through all of the posts but there doesn't seem to be anything definitive for the fronts
