The preamp arrived, it looks better than expected.
No RCA input jacks. One more thing to find.
What kind of range do you guys get from the Millennia?
Since I was planning to be around the Suburban as much as in it range was important.

The Bluetooth signal is digital, the music is digital. The amount of compression mostly determines sound quality assuming you have the bandwidth. If someone has figured out a way to transmit it more effectively why wouldn't I take advantage of it.
I am not an audio guy either. Just trying to put something reliable together.

You're going to be disappointed. Maximum theoretical range of ANY class 2 Bluetooth device is 32ft. That's assuming no obstructions, and a 100% clear line of sight. If you install it anywhere even close to hidden I'd expect maybe half that at the maximum. I can get maybe 15ft away from my truck and the signal starts getting very choppy. That 100+ft claim on your adapter is 100% BS.

Powered up the Bluetooth adapter today. It paired up without a problem and sounds really good. Had one of my audiophile friends link into it and give it a quick workout. He was on Amazon shortly thereafter trying to buy one for his BMW. We ran it out to about 75' through a closed steel door and down the hall with no degradation in sound quality. He was using a Samsung phone. It may go further but we ran out of hall.

The design is getting simpler.
After seeing how much audio signal was available from the BT module and how low the preamp volume was set to I decided to delete the preamp and it turns out to be unnecessary. I have lots of volume and range without it.
Another $25 in the parts bucket.
This morning I was sitting in the driveway streaming some classic rock over the WIFI into the tablet and out to the amp via BT while I played with My AndriodALDL app streaming engine data to me 8 times a second over BT. It made me smile.

This turned out to be a very simple and effective upgrade. Even the equalizer and cassette still function.
Parts:
Exile BT reciever it has a 2.2V output signal (no preamp necessary)
Female RCA cables 1 red, 1 white

I pulled out the cassette head popped the top and wired the RCA cables in parallel with the output signal wires. The small red/white and black wires.
In parallel do not cut the cassette wires.
I also sourced ACC power and GND from the connector. Also parallel.
See the video for the pinout.
The data pin 10K trick didn't work to turn my system on so I decided to just use a gutted cassette as the switch. pop it in it's on. By some miracle it turns out that if you inject a signal into the cassette head it stops transmitting the cassette signal and the equalizer starts modifying the the BT signal. The cassette doesn't walk on the BT signal.
I mounted the Exile receiver above the center duct there is a little cavity behind the faceplate.
Sound quality is better than the radio or cassette.
I haven't checked the range yet
