First off hey everyone. New to being on any forum been looking through the site and thought I'd start a thread about my truck. I've been in love with gmt400s since my dad had a eclb1500 (wanted that truck so bad). About a year ago I came across a blue rclb 3500 with get this a 4.3 and 4 speed granny low and 4.56 gears needless to say being 18 it didn't last long. Sorry have no pics of it. Here recently I came across my dream truck at local dealership. Traded my dmax at the time straight up for it was a 1 owner with 152,*** and was only used to pull a camper sorry for the noval I get long winded. Its a 95 exlb 2500 with 5.7 4l80e and 4.10s It had a are bed top on it and was the first thing to go plus some new shoes (265/70r16 10ply) took me 2 hours online to find them there 30 10.50s basically. And recently had transmission totally rebuilt and ungraded here's how the truck looks now.

Thanks! And yeah I have already cut the cat off and have single 3 inch all the way out with flowmaster super 44. (I get told it sounds like a race car going by lol) and ranch hand grille gaurd soon to come. Plus thinking about a 6.0 swap in future.

My dad has the 4x4 version of yours! It's also a 95 5.7L but It's got 252,*** miles. But I drives like it has only 50,000 miles.

Saddest thing I heard my dad say 'I'm not worried about the truck, when something breaks I'll fix it.' But I guess that could be a compliment because afterwords he said 'I needed a reliable truck so I bought a 90's chevy, because I am able to fix it myself if something breaks.'

  • New grille and lights (recently hit a deer)
  • New stereo system
  • Ranch hand grille gaurd
  • Edelbrock 3704 intake?
  • Locker (long 2wd truck sucks in deep snow)
I'm sure ill think of more

Wow I wish mine was 4x4 but I'm sure it'd end up in a big mud hole. I love the colors of mine. You should try to get it from your dad. :naughty:
