Cool! Glad to hear it's back up and running. The new flywheel may be just a hair larger, thus the need for the shim.

Must be. But it's starting just fine with no grinding, so that works for me.

...and yes it's ~45* here and I just washed it...

Cleaned it up again today. Been driving around with it fairly easy after putting I the new clutch. Drives just like stock, but with a lot more get up and go.

Also been thinking about some gmt800 toe mirrors. They are kinda growing on me. I think they would better than the stock mirrors on it now. But would have to be all black. No chrome of course.

I can agree with tows! Whenever I finally get a 400, I'm gonna get the ones with LEDs in them and wire them up with the turn signals

So I tried to track down the source of this rattle/squeak coming from my dash today. Tilted the dash to look behind, trying to see if I could find anything.

Only thing I found was this:

Put it back together and I've still got the same thing happening. Guess it's really gonna get torn apart soon. I have no idea where it's coming from over than somewhere in the drivers side. It's killing me I can't stand it when I'm driving.

I hate rattles so much. This "squeak" is so bad that I just don't want to drive the truck anymore.

I know that feeling because of rattling interior and squeaking brakes. I drove a Taurus while I was lifting my truck. I miss it because it doesn't squeak and rattle.
