I bought the truck. 98. 454 k2500. 99,603 original miles. Ecsb. 4"4 works great. Looks like a grandpa truck, but that's a great platform. First things first, ditch the shell. Crank the bars, and put in the rear blocks, and throw my 285s on the stock shelves until I can get different wheels. All in all, I'm really happy, and very excited. It takes a minute to crank over, so I'm thinking new fuel filter, and intake gaskets, and spider injectors. Paid $4500, so I have equity because it books at $7000. And I have equity in the Yukon, because it books at $2200 and I paid $1000 for it. I'll sell the Yukon, pick up some cheap wheels with a decent offset and back spacing. Paint the fender flares and rockers white, to make it all match. Sell my 95 corolla for $800, and pay off some of the loan. And tips, tricks, and advise are welcome. It's my first vortex, and first BBC.
Pretty stoked, and ready for a BBC. Let's hear some advise.
