She's sitting a little talller. Think I'm gonna order some cheap ebay flares to hide some of the rust. Might as well give this thing a little love as it's the most reliable thing I own.

So you decided to keep it? Stance looks really good
It was for sale for a while but never got sold. I have my gf insured on this and im on her 2015 Sonic. So now I have to keep it haha. With her on the Sonic insurance would have been almost double the car payment.

It's been a while since I posted. The motor in this thing is about done. Has 40 oil pressure for about the first 5 minutes you drive it. Once all the oil is nice and warm and circulated, it drops to 0. So currently on the hunt for another 4.3. Already decided I'm not swapping in a 5.7. I rarely tow with this thing and like the gas mileage of the 4.3. Can't decided if I want to do a Vortec head and intake swap, or just find a junkyard TBI and drop it in. It has been a while since I've built a motor.......

It's also having issues with the front right hub/brakes. Hub bearing went out a few weeks ago, so I replaced that. First time doing it on a K1500. 100x easier than the 2500/3500's I'm used to. Had it done in half an hour. Now it's either gone out again or the brakes are sticking on just that side. After a 10 minute drive I can barely put my hand on the outside of the wheel. I'm assuming brakes, which I'll be tackling later this week. I just hope the heat didn't toast my new wheel bearing. I really wish things would break in the summer time. Working in the driveway in the cold sucks.
