So are you keeping or removing the moldings? I saw you removed them on the driverside which looks really good. When I removed mine it took 10 minutes to remove the moldings and 10 hours to get the tape off but I love it :)

The driver side was such a pain!!! Like yours, the glue took forever to clean off and it took some paint with it. After priming and painting and all that...I had probably 8 hrs in that side alone. I'll probably wait till spring to do the other side because I dont have any heat out in my shop.

That's odd - I had 0 issues removing my molding. I took a heat gun to it till it was smoking hot and visibly starting to melt, then ran string behind it and it mostly came off clean. Afterwards, I took an eraser wheel to it and it removed any leftover glue without any damage.

I used a heat gun as well and just peeled like an inch and a half at a time. I work for a GMC dealership in the detail dept and used some high grade adhesive remover on the glue and rolled ot off using my thumbs (blister city). Didnt have access to an eraser wheel but believe me I will buy one when I do the passenger side!!!

Does anyone know if you need shock extenders when lowered 6 in the rear?

From what I've read it's very highly recommended. I'm sure you could get by without them, but they'll improve your ride quality immensely.
