Parked it for awhile as I finally have a new dd. Hoping to fix some things now that it can sit for extended periods to be worked on.

Not sure if I had explained this here before but I parked the truck due to having some vibrations that I couldn't quite pinpoint. Right before I parked it the tcase began making sounds. Bad sounds. I finally got to it and I realized why I had never checked it. Fill plug was jammed in the hole and wouldn't move. So I popped the drain plug. Not even a quarter of a quart of black, shimmery burnt trans fluid. Got the driveshafts shafts off and spun the front yoke and nice grindy sounds by the input shaft. Dropped the tcase and found just what I had figured. Magnet covered in metal. Inside was dry.

Bought a used tcase for it and got it in. Truck drives just like it used to. Ran a little rough at first since it hadn't been out of the garage in almost 6 months but man did it feel good to drive it again. Need a couple small items still to finish up the swap but it was good for a short drive. Even hooked up to the new toy and towed it around town a little. I'm so very relieved. After driving it again I really don't think I could live with myself if I got rid of it. If course I had to stop and take pics.

Towed the seadoo to two lakes Sunday after pulling the front drive shaft. No more vibrations and the seadoo is an absolute riot. I'm so happy right now.

Also have a solid line on a Whipple kit for the truck that might be coming available in a few months.

Pan is on with a new filter and filled with Valvoline dex 6. Front drive shaft is also back in place with a new universal joint.

Might go to the lake today. Rained last night, no call to work. So I have a day off. Gonna wash the truck, get brakes for the car and wash it. Might even wax them today as well.

Bought a back rack finally. Not my preferred method of mounting but it didn't come with original hardware and the custom hardware that I did get doesn't work with my stake pockets so I'll have to buy some bolts. But it's mounted and very solid for now. Most would call it good. I'm not most people though.

Got the rack in the channel like it should be. Now I just have to mount it properly.
