So you want it to be awesome at everything, cheap, and last forever?

If real mud is a concern, and truly a priority, avoid the all terrain types, The best tire listed is the ST Maxx, which is ok in the mud. My Duratracs also meet most of those requirements, and are also only OK in the mud.

Boggers are wonderful in the mud... But suck at everything else lol

BFG AT user here. Good tire, last long and had have no issues with mud or snow. Ice ise their issue, which is pretty typical for most all terrains or mud tires. If those are your only 2 choices, id take the ST Maxxs.

Duratracs are hard to beat. But they can get kinda pricey which is the main reason I don't use them.

I run the AT3's on most everything I own. We also use them at work and I have driven through some very muddy and snowy fields and gotten through no problem (with just a weeee bit of throttle lol).

I had a bad experience with the Hankooks on a plow truck one time, wanted to spin more than hook in a few inches of wet snow. But I have a feeling that's because the usual driver of that truck had aired them all the way up (if not past the rating, he wasn't the brightest employee), so that's why they were giving me fits.

I have a new set of BFG A/T KO2's and the do well in the snow, and surprisingly well on ice, far grippier than expected. Plus the more aggressive sidewall is shweeeet!

I run 33" duratracs on my 1988 k1500. That truck drives 50 miles a day to and from work, hauls snow blowers in the winter, and sees mud or trail rides every weekend. 10k miles and just barely starting to show wear. You dont hear them until 70mph and even then u gotta listen for the hum. Do great on the trails with very little chunking, and are better than any other all terrain in the mud.
