Clean truck. I think lowering it would look great, especially with it being 2WD.

Yeah I just think the power will be so much more usable with a smaller tire and a decent suspension setup.

What are you doing to the intake?

Shaving it, the truck intake is straight ugly without the cover. This changes the look of it a lot.

Shaving it would be my guess.

Yep
I hear taking the ribs off makes the intake flex like crazy. I wanted to do my tbss intake until I saw that

Pretty sure this is one reason how I messed up the 350. Back before I knew, hey don't turn a tbi motor 5k. Bullet glasspacks sound soo good though.

Well guys it's been a while, haven't really done much but buy a few parts here and there, life got in the way and this truck got pushed further aside. Hoping to change that this summer.

Majority of the parts I have besides the engine, mounts, cam, and headers

Picked up a parts truck for a trans for the swap

And for anyone new this is the truck, its a 95 C1500 with a messed up 5.7 in it. Truck has a 4" spindle lift, 3.73 gears and a locker. It was painted 3 years ago Stryker Red (3 stage) and working on a small cam 5.3/4l60e for it.

Picked up a 01 2500 in January and snagged the 6.0/80e out of it. Trans was cooked and turned out the engine needed some help despite how well it ran. Head was cracked and cam bearings were shot. Machine shop got me straight and back on track. It's just money right?
