Newbie here and proud owner of a 97 Sierra z71. New to the forum but definitely not new to these trucks. Have owned probably 50 of them in every shape and form. Will be looking for parts and insight here shortly.

IDK what your tring to do with it, but your more than welcome to go through my pics. Just click on my avatar, then albums page, then my 97. I have a lot of work in my truck, and have had it since 2002. One of the reasons I joined was the same as yours. I was looking for ideas. This is a grate place for that. Several of the up grades I have done, has come from ideas I got from here.

It's my hunting and fishing truck so I know I'm going to lift it and add lights and a winch. But unsure of what else

Yea, I kind of went the other way with mine. A street daily driver. There are a lot of trucks here though that are what you want to do to yours.

I ended up lifting my C1500 after convincing myself I was going to have a little street truck. Just something about these extended cabs lifted that I love. Nice truck btw.

If you're looking for lift/wheels ideas, check out this page here. Lots of different ways that people have lifted these trucks, so the possibilities are endless. Happy modding, and welcome to the forum!

Thank you. Will definitely check it out. Myself I just can't justify lifting a c1500

If you seen some of the roads down here out in the country, you could. Trust me. :hahano::hahano::hahano::hahano:
