Thanks for the fpr insight mangonesailer! And for the manifold , yeah I was just thinking of some porting maybe around the throttle body and ports, I was also thinking of adding some snow performance direct injection nozzles right into the top where the main runner splits into 2

Right down the middle like that for the water/meth nozzles. And it’ll clear the vortec air cover

Why direct W/M instead of some nozzles pre-throttle body?

I fell like it’ll disperse better, and the distance it has to travel is insanely long to reach the ports

It'll probably help a lot with air charge temp too being in each runner.

Yeah, a little porting never hurt nothing.

So now that parts are ordered/in hand, what are you shooting for on power? How much boost do you think you'll run?

You were doing forged internals right?

I want atleast 450hp to the wheels and I’ll start off on 5-6 to make sure everything is working good and then end goal for boost right now is 9 pounds

Also this is all on stock everything, I might change can and springs but for now it’s stock everything. I don’t want to put forged internals in this block cause I want to just completely build a second engine outside of the vehicle so I can just drop it in, that one will get all the fancy things, dart big m block, Callie’s internals, the jazz to handle some serious boost, for now it’s just kind of project to actually get it running good on the stock motor. When I did my head gaskets last September I got to get a look at the bores and pistons and everything looked good, this is all another reason I wanna run water/meth is just another layer of safety

Exhaust pieces came in, all mandrel bent, just waiting on the flange to come in to start some mock-up

Seems like a fair route. The stock engine should handle 6 psi no problem, as long as the tuning is good.
