I'm a huge fan of the 88-94 interiors... i crew up in this white crew cab. The interior is still mint after 20+ years. It's a fully loaded C3500 Silverado crew cab with PW/PL.

I never knew i'd end up with it, so about 6 years ago i bought a 94 Cheyenne Crew Cab. I've been transforming the interior from a W/T to a Silverado with crank windows ever since. Just finished the interior conversion after 6 years finding the rear door panels to complete it.

These are probably my favorite vehicle interior ever, even over the new stuff. The only thing i don't like is the lack of a good way to run an MP3 compatible radio. I use FM transmitters because i can't stand the aftermarket radio location... my only drawback of the 88-94 interior. Otherwise i think the door handles and seats (common issues on the 95+) are much better quality IMO.

The inside door pull / door arm rests could’ve been engineered a bit stronger. Other than that I agree with you, love the 88-94 interior. It’s like sitting in a time machine for me.

I agree entirely with that, it just seems out of place for a radio to be put but really the only logical solution. With some custom fabrication work you could probably fit a single DIN somewhere underneath the dash like near the cupholder area or closer.

Agreed and Agreed. Arm rests are less than stellar but IMO still less of a pain than the 95+ handles which are pretty fragile too.

However, I will say i do secretly like the 95-96 dashes and wouldn't mind a 95-96 reg cab with tan interior with all the 95+ interior bells and whistles and express heater knobs and stuff, with a nice aftermarket stereo and a 60/40 split fold down bench in a daily driver reg cab K2500. Not that i don't have a next build on my mind or anything :)

Pre-95 interior is classic, only way to live, all inherent flaws notwithstanding

Agreed, it looks more classy and suits the truck. The 95+ looks cheap and so 90s

Here’s some pics of my 91. Not bad for over 200 thousand miles. I love the look of the early interior with the low back buckets. Just wish they reclined

Here's my '89 Cheyenne, about as simple as it gets.....

I replaced the original vinyl bench with that cloth seat from an '89 Silverado.

I am a sucker for the factory vinyl floors in these trucks. My dad ordered a '90, a '93, and what is now my red '97 with them. He was disappointed when they stopped offering it as an option with the Silverado trim in 2000, had to go with carpet.
