That’s interesting. How do they attach...do you somehow cut the top half off of the original?

Yeah that's what I am confused on also. I requested more pics. These have the original texture appearance with full sides, not the half looking sides. I couldn't see any places that you would attach it other than the three screws near the top defrost/vent. And from my first pic you can clearly see that it's missing part of the glove box bezel around the vents, and those are places that it gets attached with screws... To me it looks like a cap with full sides. I'm hoping to hear back soon.

Buddy and I pulled this at the yard today. It's going in his 92. I think he paid 30 or 35 for it.

it only takes like a hour and a half to pull i got the harness and fuse box.
what like five 7mm across the top two 14 or 15 mm's on the bottom drop the column then start unplugging stuff??
it took me longer to put it in than take out.

I lost track of how many bolts. It's a bunch of 7mm, i think some 14mm, a stupid push pin in the middle, drop the column, and start unplugging wiring. We were working off YouTube videos so it took us (mostly him) a while. But we had nowhere to be, so no big deal.

There's a guy selling fiberglass covers on eBay. His name is Sam. Be wary, I haven't seen any installed pictures.
