Stuff like this renews my hope for the younger generation ! I know that is a cliché of the worst sort but seeing what I see behind the counters of America it is a pleasure to see someone your age who has it together. Good luck and keep up the good work !

I agree 100 %, I was thunkin it just not saying it !

Not alot of people want to get their hands dirty anymore. Classes here have dropped in the last couple of years. Last year 11 people went for auto body, and only 2 are still working towards a degree. We started our class with 10 people this year, and only about 5 show up regularly. It gets frustrating sometimes as we do have customer cars that come in, and it pushes my truck to the side because noone shows up enough to finish them. I'm already working at a dealership bodyshop and ive only been in school since august. Ill post some more pics in a second of the progress today.

You will get a good payback at the next recession. A lot of your HS classmates will be hanging out in mommy's basement wondering why their underwater basketweaving degree isn't enough to get them a job and you will be not only working but probably opening your own shop to handle the load.

Here's some pics of what I got done today. Hood and fenders are done, going to Be prime time next week for sure. Then it's a block party for a day or so.

This weekend I redid the rims on my gray truck, and threw together the sho. I am going to be replacing a shock mount on the gray pickup today as the top of the shock busted through the mount.
