Thought I'd post a pic of the hole where the distributor goes and what is down there. That slotted looking thing is where your distributor needs to fit on to to drive the oil pump and is the reason why the dist. won't fit all the way down sometimes. It's easily turned with a long, flat screwdriver to line up with the dist. shaft.FWIW

Is there anyway to test the charcoal canister (95 K1500 with 305 TBI)? I smell a faint fuel aroma around it. All the lines from the tank and engine are good.

It’s a fairly cheap part, but why waste the cash if I don’t need too!

Thanks!

Putting aftermarket chrome valve covers on my 4.3L. Do I need to purchase grommets for the PCV holes in the covers? Is this something that could be re-used from the stock covers?

Also I've been looking for the Wiper Motor Pulse Board Module, Mine is Rectangular Shape and is inside the box I'm pointing at and sits on top of the wiper motor and slides into the top side. All the parts store and dealerships call for a Horse shoe with a Large square shape like the picture shown, nothing like mine?

I'm not sure they sell parts for that type of motor. Best option is to swap to the later style with the module pictured. It's a direct swap, I pulled my motor from a '98 Suburban and it's been working fine ever since. Also, should you have problems with module, the fix is to take the board off and reflow the solder from what I've read around here.

How are you 96-00 ls swapped guys getting fuel to your engines? Are you able to keep a return fuel system like stock, or do you have to go returnless? Pics woukd be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Whats the stock replacement crate motor for the 350 tbi? I have been looking at GM 19244450 but guessing the cam might be too aggressive for the stock pcm

Mine in my ‘92 went out on me and I found at least four or five good working ones on a casual trip to the junkyard.
