So I have an sm465 in my 90 k1500 which i love to death but I also owned an 82 f150 with whatever 4 speed those came with, only that truck was carbed. The difference between the 2 is that obviously my chevy is superior but when I let off the clutch in granny gear in the ford it would just go, i could literally park it against a concrete wall let off the clutch and the truck would just lope and like *skirt* the tires. The motor wouldnt die. In the chevy with the TBI however if i let of the clutch in granny on any sort of a grade it will kill the motor. I imagine it mainly has to do with fuel delivery or some such voodoo, but im wondering how this can be achieved in a TBI setup or if i would have to go carb to get that sort of action back.
