I could always snag the red crew cab and take ur burbs 454, ha. Na wat I really need is a diesel with the plans I'm making, but taxes are going towards other crap. But I have been looking at saw this, you wanna talk abt a 10 year old toyo for 20k+ try this thing just cuz it's got a cummins

I could buy a used cummins and upgrades for that price.

But for the burb, I ended up doin yard chores and cleaning up the property getting it ready for some changes so I haven't swapped that pump out but do need to run into town today so may pull the old one out if I got a couple mins an pick up a new one.

Hell no that cummins is not worth that. Rather buy a third gen cummins at that point. Or hell even a hemi, I have very few complaints about them and they do fine!

Ya that dealers in sac and they mark up everything they have to crazy prices, saw a 96 3500 for 32k couple weeks ago. Got one in town for abt 12k, ya it's got dents but so did my 12 ram, I bought that thing new with only 41 miles and within the first week I had already put 3 or 4 dents in it from hauling ****.

Got the burb running an power steering, first I thought I was havin more problems since the rpms kept dropping when I turn and the truck was jerking but realized it was in 4 low cuz i dropped it down when i was trying to move a log. Popped it back into 2wd and took if for a spin around the block and it seems like it's all good, still gotta go get a cap for the new pump since I turned in my core with my cap an forgot to grab it off, they should still have it there.

So gunna be using the burb to haul lots of wood and wasn't comfortable towing my big trailer without a brake controller installed, after trying to over complicate things and with help from a few good fellas here I've got that all but snugged up. But spending time in the burb has got me looking at all the tiny things I hate about it and that I need to start taking care off. Since the 94 is the big project right now I dnt plan on doing anything big but I can make a list of the smaller stuff to tackle.

Stayed home since it was windy as hell and didn't want to be out falling trees so looked over the burb and some of the things that bug me, couple random dents and it's dirty inside, should build some type of box in the back for all my stuff to sit in. Think a good deep clean then look for some seat replacements, gotta figure out how to repair the overhead console then find some new visors. Would like to pop those dents back but ill wait till I bedline the bottom quarter.

Ya the front 2 screw broke through and snapped some of the plastic off so it hangs down
Gotcha. The two pieces of the console separate and you could replace the mounting portion of the console. Or I've got an suv console in the classifieds if you're interested in just replacing yours.

Its one of those extra long over heads with the audiovox flip down so I dnt know if I just replace it with a shorter one if it'd leave holes in the headliner, I'll have to pull part of it down an take a look.

Nothing big with the burb lately. Just driving it, hauling wood and moved my buddy's van today which it did alot better then I anticipated and I've got a little more faith in her, did have wiring issue with brake controller I've gotta check out. Held 60 mph at just over 2k rpm but it's got me thinkin, since the wife dont wanna sell it, first she was ok with it but now she says no cause we brought all of our kids home from hospital when they were born. I wondering abt an eventual 6.0 swap, upgrading to the 4l80e, and a 14bolt ff. Basically setting it up as a 2500. Question is, is there frame differences between the 1500 an the 2500.
